Boomerang
is a professional eight piece dance band specializing in the greatest
dance songs of the 60s, 70s, & 80s. Featuring a four member all-female
horn section, the band plays hits by such artists as James Brown, Stevie
Wonder, KC & the Sunshine Band, and The Temptations with energy
and enthusiasm. Drummer and lead vocalist Michael Kramer offers this
philosophy:  "I've
seen bands and DJs clear a dance floor by playing music that does not
engage the audience. We believe that our primary job is to get people
dancing and keep them dancing. We're not here to play what's current
or trendy - we're here to play the most widely known and popular dance
music."
